In the next 10 years, based on seniors’ population growth, the demand for long-term care is projected to increase by an average of 38%. By 2029, Ontario alone would require over 30,000 new long-term care spaces in order to serve our growing aging population. And in Florida, Seniorliving.com says “Between now and 2030, seniors will account for 56.9% of Florida’s projected population growth of 4.8 million.” This growth provides job stability for anyone working in assisted living.
